Butterfly rings shimmer with personality and radiate style. They symbolize rebirth and new beginnings, in addition to possessing delicate beauty. Butterfly rings capture that moment when you’re able to observe a butterfly standing still in its natural state, but about to fly away at any time. They are a gorgeous adornment for the hand and have a ladylike, vintage quality.
The butterfly ring look works in both dressy and casual settings. Butterflies are a popular wedding theme and butterfly jewelry makes a beautiful gift for bridesmaids. Whether you already love butterflies and butterfly jewelry, admired it in recent runway fashion shows, or fell in love with Mariah Carey’s signature butterfly ring, a cubic zirconia butterfly ring is joyful, timeless and elegant.
Pave cubic zirconia detail on the wings gives the butterfly ring weight and substance, while the spacing of the wings adds lightness. The butterfly body is comprised of three larger cubic zirconia gemstones. Butterfly rings tend to be comfortable to wear. Despite having a fairly large diameter on top of the hand, the band surrounding the finger is thin and comfortable. We particularly like this Cubic Zirconia Butterfly Ring
because of its layers of wings, the density of stones and its three-dimensionality. We also like the rounded wing edges giving the ring a softer appearance.

When you hear of Diamonique jewelry, you may automatically think of wedding or engagement rings. But you’ll also find a stunning selection of bracelets within the line at QVC. There are bracelet styles in chain link, cuffs and bangles done in white gold, yellow gold, sterling silver and even stainless steel. Also available are lovely two-tone designs, meaning that the piece will work perfectly with either gold or silver-colored jewelry. They can be piled on together, and with a watch for an on-trend appearance.
One of the most striking Diamonique bracelet styles is the tennis bracelet. You’ll find more traditional ones, as well as those that incorporate additional metal detailing like an ‘x’ design between each stone. The Diamonique tennis bracelet is one of the most lustrous looks and thus one of the most highly coveted.
Another type of Diamonique bracelet is the bangle. Whether you want a simple metal bangle delicately accented with cubic zirconia, or you’re looking for a flashier, pave style, these bracelets can come with a gorgeous hinge closure, or simply fit over the hand naturally. QVC offers thinner, more refined bracelets as well as “statement” pieces that are at least an inch in width. Some styles feature colored Diamonique stones such as simulated cz sapphires which add a fashionable and expensive-looking touch.
Also, Diamonique chain bracelets are extremely popular and a cut above a traditional gold or sterling silver. You’ll find individual ribbed and smooth links that are delicately ornamented with bling. Heavier rolo link bracelets have a weightier presence and emphasize the luxurious chain links, while daintier styles really showcase the lustrous gemstones.
Finally, look for Diamonique watches that double as jewelry. Many watches today have adopted jewelry motifs, and are more like bracelets that happen to tell time. Beautiful and practical! Both the watch face and the cuff can be richly accented with gemstones.

Layered cubic zirconia chain necklaces are all about relaxed glamour created by multiple strands of differing lengths. Draping beautifully around the neck, you’ll see this sparkling cz jewelry look in both casual and red carpet situations. There are two ways to achieve the layered cubic zirconia chain necklace style. Both ways feature long “station chains” where you have a sterling silver or gold chain punctuated every one to three inches by a gemstone. This cz gemstone detail, often round and bezel set, goes all the way around the length of the dainty necklace. It can hang all the way down to hip length in some instances. Because of the number and breadth of stones, this layered style makes a stunning visual impact when wrapped around the neck numerous times.
The first way to wear a shimmering layered cz necklace look is by selecting one or more different pieces of varying lengths. Mix station chains with some hanging close to the neck and others at the chest or even waist level. You may also combine cz station necklaces with other types of chains. This is a great look because you have the flexibility to adjust the necklaces to best accent your outfit and neckline. Longer necklaces can be worn as is, or wrapped one or more times around the neck. One gorgeous example is the incredibly beautiful Bezel-Set Contessa Necklace
that can be worn as a single, long drapey accessory or wrapped two or more times around the neck.
Another way to achieve the multi-layer look is with a pre-layered single necklace comprised of several strands secured together at the clasp. In this style, you are wearing one piece, but it contains between three and eight chains punctuated with cubic zirconia. Each chain falls at a different length and gives the impression of wearing multiple necklaces.

If it’s December, then the birthstone is blue topaz, a gemstone representing love and fidelity. Birthstone jewelry for children is a wonderful, personal gift. Blue topaz cubic zirconia earring styles really sparkle whether in huggie hoops or studs. They’re a beautifully delicate keepsake, she’ll treasure when she reaches adulthood.
Baby birthstone earrings are specially designed for a baby. The size and shape of the hoops and cut of the stone are meant to suit the little one’s ear. Stones are often cut in the shape of butterflies and hearts which are simple and sweet. Baby cz earrings should wear smoothly and comfortably. They are almost always made from gold or white gold and worn by babies as young as a few weeks old.
In baby jewelry, avoid necklaces for very young babies as they may present a safety hazard. For all young children, we suggest holding off on beaded jewelry until they are a bit older.
We think these Baby Blue Topaz Cubic Zirconia (CZ) Butterfly Huggie Earrings in 10K White Gold
are gorgeous and you’ll also find coordinating rings and bracelets to make a set. There may even be the perfect coordinating blue topaz jewelry piece for mom!

As far as we’re concerned, vintage jewelry looks are always in style. Scouring flea markets, pawn shops, garage sales or your family members’ jewelry stash can yield some fabulous vintage cubic zirconia jewelry finds.
Right now, however, there’s a huge trend, not only in cubic zirconia jewelry, but in vintage or vintage-style cz pieces. The type of vintage jewelry we’re talking about is characterized by a lovely patina, elegant filigree mountings, classic floral designs, heirloom lace patterns and an unmistakable shimmer. Today’s “new” vintage cubic zirconia jewelry styles are often modeled after original vintage designs.
Here are a few examples of our favorite new vintage cz jewelry looks:

This Heavenly Lace CZ Filigree Bracelet
has eye-catching scroll-like detail with 133 cubic zirconia stones. We love that it is a unique look that you won’t see everyone wearing. The gorgeous design spans the entire exterior of this bracelet, that can only be described as exquisite.

We also love this Fine Vintage Champagne CZ Ring
with its beautiful champagne color cubic zirconia in the center. The center cz stone is encircled by 16 white cz accent gemstones. The petal-like border looks like something you’d find in your grandmother’s jewelry box.

Finally, check out this showstopping Luxe Lace Trio
which includes a cz ring, bracelet and earrings. There are well over 200 cubic zirconia gemstones in this gorgeous set. It has a fancy, delicate look that is most striking for special occasions. You can easily wear the pieces separately as well.

A cz eternity band symbolizes everlasting love and often marks a special occasion such as an anniversary or birth of a child. They are also known as infinity rings, because the ring’s continuous loop represents an everlasting love. A cubic zirconia eternity ring typically includes some, if not all, white (clear) gemstones, but can also be personalized with colored birthstones. (Be sure to check out our other article featuring different CZ eternity band rings).
There are several important things to consider when shopping for a ring:
Comfort
A cz eternity ring is a piece the wearer wants to enjoy every day. For this reason, it must be comfortable. One thing that affects the comfort is the width of the band. If the cubic zirconia eternity band is too thick, it can impede and motion and even hurt. Thinner bands tend not to cause any physical discomfort.
Cost
Prices for a cubic zirconia eternity band can climb high, depending on the type of metal, stones, and overall quality and detail. To streamline costs, many opt for a “half” band. This means that the gemstones are set only in the area of the ring seen on the back of the hand, and do not run the entire circumference of the ring. Not only do fewer gemstones mean lower cost, but it can also make a cz ring more comfortable to wear.
An “overlay” of a particular metal like platinum over sterling silver is a great way to trim the cost. A pure sterling silver ring with a high polish is also a nice, inexpensive option.
Coordination
The eternity band can look beautiful worn on its own, but it’s often stacked next to an engagement ring. Because engagement ring styles vary, you’ll want to check that the band stacks comfortably with your other rings, and doesn’t leave too much space between.
For a simply gorgeous cz eternity band ring option, check out this Sterling Silver and Cubic Zirconia Eternity Ring
from Holsted Jewelers (pictured above).

If you own a piece of Diamonique jewelry, or any cubic zirconia for that matter, it’s important to know the best way to care for it. We found the following information on the QVC site, which owns Diamonique, about how to clean Diamonique jewelry. They do offer a “cleaning system” for Diamonique which costs under $15, but we think this free method is great.
Cleaning and Caring for Diamonique® Jewelry
Clean bowl
Lukewarm water
Mild dishwashing liquid or a mild jewelry cleaning solution
Fine mesh plastic or stainless steel strainer
Soft, clean, dry cloth (any dust or dirt on the cloth may scratch the piece)
Small, soft-bristled toothbrush or brush
Toothpick
A word about jewelry cleaners
If you are using a commercial jewelry cleaner, always follow the directions for that particular cleaning product. It is also very important to maintain the freshness of the cleaner by storing it in a tightly-sealed container. A stale or contaminated cleaner may be ineffective or even damage your jewelry. Check to see if your jewelry cleaner indicates a shelflife or expiration date.
- Preparation
For older items with gemstones, check the setting(s) to make sure that the stone(s) is secure. Dirt and residue can fool you and act as a “cement,” keeping the stone in place even if the setting has been rendered weak from wear. If this is the case, and the residue is removed when cleaning, the loose stone may fall out. If working over or near a sink, plug the drain.
If using a mild jewelry cleaning solution, pour into a clean bowl. You can also make your own solution by combining lukewarm water and mild dishwashing liquid.(2 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid to 1 quart of water).
Place the piece in a strainer and put the strainer on top of the bowl so that the solution comes through the strainer and completely surrounds the piece.
Soak the item for 10 to 20 minutes. It’s important to soak the piece long enough to soften and loosen any residue and dirt.
Place the strainer on a large towel and inspect your jewelry to make sure that all the stones are intact.
Thoroughly, but gently, brush the top, sides, and bottom of the piece with a soft brush to remove the softened residue. Also brush the underside of the stone. Use a toothpick to reach crevices.
Rinse with clean water.
Thoroughly dry with a cloth that is soft, dry and clean. If you store the piece immediately after cleaning, leave the piece on a towel for an extended period of time to ensure it’s completely dry.
If all residue has not been removed, repeat the above steps as needed.

The Tacori line of Diamonique is praised for its intricate design and detail work, and in particular their gorgeous crescent style earrings. You’ll typically find two styles of this line of QVC Diamonique earrings: studs and drop earrings. Within each style, there are a variety of cuts and designs that are unique to Tacori. While their diamond pieces can cost well over ten thousand dollars, this collection is FAR more reasonably-priced and just as beautiful.
One of Tacori Diamonique’s signatures is the crescent design motif. You’ll find this design, not only in earrings but Tacori cz bracelets, necklaces and rings. The crescent design features Diamonique stones that seem to float alone inside a repeating half-circle design. This creates an even bolder look to pieces that feel both vintage and updated. The word “crescent” comes from the Latin verb “to grow” and referred to phases of the moon. It is one of the oldest symbols known to humanity and is widely used. It is associated with numerous religions, country flags, and cities, such as New Orleans, the “Crescent City.” This universal symbolism makes the crescent shape a wonderful design for jewelry, representing growth, change or family.
In Tacori Diamonique cz stud earrings, you’ll typically see a crescent cut design featuring smaller round gemstones encircling a larger round or oval central stone. The cubic zirconia drop earrings are similar to the studs but often feature additional briolettes, and crescent design detail on the levers. They are bound to become staples in your earring collection as they are simple, elegant and very comfortable to wear.
Instantly recognizable, all pieces from the cz crescent style line coordinate beautifully. The Tacori Epiphany Diamonique collection is made from platinum clad sterling silver which looks particularly elegant due to the bold, crisp platinum shine. All cz lines are available exclusively at QVC.

Here’s an overview of some of our absolute favorite sterling silver cubic zirconia earrings that you or someone you know are sure to appreciate this holiday season. These styles are classic, yet contain huge amounts of hand-set cubic zirconia stones that will catch anyone’s eye. Some of these are available in both pierced or clip on styles.
First, we love the Sterling Silver and Cubic Zirconia Hoop Earrings
that are encrusted with almost 2 carats of gemstones. Stones are in a prong setting and the hoops measure about 9/10″ in diameter.
We also adore these elaborately designed and elegant CZ filigree cluster earrings
. Each earring features 34 cubic zirconia accents and is available in a pierced or clip on style. Filigree, the crafting of wire into beautiful designs originated in ancient Egypt. The pattern lends a vintage feel to this special pair.
Finally, for a total splurge, we’re in love with this Show-Stopping Sterling Silver and CZ Ring, Earrings and Pendant Set
. Jewelry sets have really made a comeback in the last couple years and we love the flexibility of wearing one, some or all the pieces at a time.
This set has some serious bling, including an 8 carat pear-shaped ring surrounded by cz accents. There are also matching pear shaped earrings (pierced style only) with the high-sparkle primary stone glamorously surrounded by cubic zirconia accents. Finally, there’s an incredible pear-shaped cubic zirconia pendant also surrounded by cz accents that comes on a stunning sterling silver cable chain.
